On Sunday D. and I really needed to get out of the house because we haven't been anywhere in a long time. Because I'm still really struggling physically we had to pick someplace flat and close by. An Alien World in Menlo Park
An Alien World in Menlo ParkOn Saturday D. and I went to the salt crystallization ponds in Menlo Park, where we found an alien landscape with few traces of life (and what little life there was struggling to survive). Cuesta Annex
Cuesta AnnexCuesta Annex, next to Cuesta Park in Mountain View, is a remnant piece of open space that was once slated for residential development but was acquired by the City and kept as open space for the past 20 years.
